Who I Am

Elio, a space systems engineer, has traversed from Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and NYC to pivotal lunar and Martian programs. His robust mechanical and electrical engineering skills, honed at the University of Michigan, facilitated his involvement in missions such as NASA-JPL’s Mars 2020. His contributions have been vital to the success of the Perseverance rover and Ingenuity Mars helicopter.

Currently, he collaborates on Blue Origin’s lunar Human Landing System. Elio’s diverse background fuels his passion for space exploration, expansion, and equal access. Beyond engineering, he disseminates his insights through talks, volunteering, and mentorship, championing others in their celestial pursuits. Explore the cosmos with Elio on his inspiring journey.
